Your entire donation, 100% of it, will go direct to Bagunçaços activities. The management at Bagunçaço are all volunteers, and the limited expenses that they incur are covered by other sources. A donation made to the Bagunçaço Foundation will go directly to a street child in Brazil and it will help keep that child away from crime, drugs and prostitution. Amazingly, as little as 200 SEK can save a child's life. The type of activities taking place at the Bagunçaço Youth Centre, receive no public funding in Brazil. Therefore Bagunçaço can go through difficult patches, where the staff are forced to focus more on fund-raising to cover the centre's basic needs, rather than the more important work they undertake with the children. Taking into consideration the large number of children who visit and benefit from Bagunçaço's activities on a regular basis, the centre's expenses are actually extremely low. The budget is kept this small deliberately, as the centre aims to offer simple guidance and support that can enable the children to help themselves in the end. In this way, eventually, these children will know how to stand on their own two feet, and how to look after themselves.
