The Bagunçaço Foundation

The Bagunçaço Foundation has one single purpose; to provide economic support to the Bagunçaço youth centre in the shanty town of Alagados in Brazil. Everyone who works for the Bagunçaço Foundation does so on a volunteer basis, which means that the administration is funded externally and that 100% of the donations are invested directly into the youth centre's activities.

The foundation is independent of religious and political beliefs, and was started in 2007 by the lawyer Frida Lundquist. Frida worked for several years at Linklaters law firm, and she is now running the Lansa firm. She has also worked for a time herself as a volunteer at the Bagunçaço centre in Brazil.

The money from the Bagunçaço Foundation is transferred on a monthly basis to the youth centre in Brazil, and this is done in set monthly instalments based on the centre's yearly budget, which has been approved by the Foundation. Aside from the regular contact that we keep with the centre, we also receive reports twice yearly.

If you have any queries about the above or would like to know anything else about the Foundation and the Bagunçaço Youth Centre, please contact us.

If you simply want to ask some questions, would like more information or just want the autogiro form sent to your house, we would like to hear from you.
